Three Traits of a Successful Woman

What Makes a Successful Woman?

What traits and qualities does a successful woman have? Why
is she the same or different from other women? How can
these traits be applied to help you to become more
successful? These questions will be considered in this
article.

Starting off, here are three outstanding ways in which
successful women excel.

First, Successful Women Run Businesses

If you were to delve deeply into the lives and careers of
prominent women like Hillary Clinton, Codolezza Rice,
Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, Leona Helmsley, Martha
Stewart, Oprah Winfrey and a select score of others you
would find that they are extremely active in operating a
business and conducting multiple business affairs. They are
commonly found in the forefronts of business negotions and
in the making of key business decisions at all levels of
the process.

What Kinds of Businesses?

The kinds of businesses successful women run can be as
varied as publishing and media services like Oprah Winfrey.
Food service and hospitality-based businesses such as those
of Martha Stewart, hotel chains like Leona Helmsley or
feminine products (i.e., cosmetics, beauty treatments,
perfumes, etc.) distribution organizations like those of
Fabrege and Chanel. Women can have successful careers in
government, industry, and in fact, all different types of
businesses. For them the sky is truly the limit.

Second, Successful Women Plan

They are adamant about planning for their business,
economic and personal futures. Hey have a burning desire to
plan for their businesses, then they dedicatedly work that
plan to its completion. Adjustments and alterations may be
made to adapt to changing circumstances but they still
remain focused. This tight focus is the third trait we will
examine.

Third, Successful Women Focus

Focus on what? They narrowly focus on what they want and
the steps or processes required to achieve their lofty
goals. One acronym of the word FOCUS defines it well, that
is to "Follow One Course Until Successful. These focused
women can also learn from their failures. Failure is an
important, recognized step in the growth and development of
many areas of life. Philip Knight, a president of Nike
footwear once said, "the trouble in America today is not
that we are making too many mistakes, but that we are
making too few".

You can allow these very same traits to help to to become
more successful. First, learn to operate a business or
other capital venture. The knowledge, skills and traits
required will be invaluable is molding and shaping you for
a greater role in leadership in any aspect of your life.
Second, develop and apply your ability to plan ahead for
yourself and a business organization. It is a crucial key
to managing or avoiding potential problems in many areas of
bsiness and in life. Plan your work, then work your plan.
Third, learn to tightly focus on what you want out of life.
If you will follow your dream relentlessly after careful
planning and development of the necessary elements and
resources, you too could prosper, grow and ultimately
become much more successful.
