Designers Valeria Marini, Lisa Romanyuk open Milan fashion shows.
Milan's fall and winter womenswear shows have begun, kicking off six days of catwalk runs in the Italian fashion capital.
Hometown designer Valeria Marini looked to the "La Dolce Vita" film and Hollywood red carpet glamour for her collection of fitted satin, chiff-on, velvet and lace sparkling dresses.
She embroidered black, pink, ruby and gold gowns with a star motif made with crystals and topped the dresses with fur collars.
Russian designer Lisa Roman-yuk took inspiration from the Winter Olympic Games, for her collection of luxurious coats and flowing gowns for fashion house Vemina.
She presented cashmere coats with fur collars and cuffs and diamante-studded leather jackets.
And one, long jacket was made up of gold and blue studs.
