Black, brown and beige at tribal-inspired Lanvin show

PARIS, FRANCE (MARCH 5, 2010) LANVIN - Black, brown and beige dominated at Alber Elbaz's Lanvin show in Paris on Monday (March 8).
Wide-cut coats with structured shoulders and draped, ruched dresses featured heavily, with a colour palette of black, grey, brown and beige only occasionally punctuated by a flash of red or bronze. Oversized tribal-inspired jewellery completed the outfits, while models sported identical, shoulder-length black bobbed wigs with blunt fringes.

Before moving to Lanvin, the Moroccan-born Israeli Elbaz designed for Yves Saint Laurent. Lanvin designs have been taken from the runway to the red carpet by stars including Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, Gwyneth Paltrow and Katie Holmes.
