Lingerie award helps mark the opening of London Fashion Week

Fashion designers from 27 countries around the world attend the final of the 2010 Triumph Inspiration Awards in London.

LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM TRIUMPH - Helping mark the opening of London Fashion Week, the international final of 2010 Triumph Inspiration Awards were held in London on Thursday (September 16).
In it's third year, the awards invite design students from fashion school around the world

Up and coming designers from almost 30 countries showcased their interpretations of this year's competition design theme "Shape Sensation".

The designs were judged by industry veterans including supermodel, Helena Christensen, fashion art photographer, Rankin, and British Fashion Designer, Matthew Williamson.

Bulgarian designer Nikolay Bojilov was proclaimed this year's Triumph Inspiration Award winner with the design "Morphology".

The award brought with it a 15,000 Euro prize and the chance to create a commercial version of his lingerie design. It will be sold in Triumph stores as a limited edition piece next summer.

"I'm really exciting, I don't know, I can't explain it exactly. I'm happy, I'm really happy," Bojilov said.

Amaya Carcamo from Spain was placed second at the awards with her design "Wood Sensation", and Italian designer Ludovico Loffreda's "Memory of Shape" earned him third place.
