Strong celeb front row showing at Mulberry Autumn Winter launch at LFW

A packed front row at the Mulberry 2012 Autumn/Winter collection show features Lana Del Rey, Michelle Williams, Elizabeth Olsen, Michelle Dockery, Tom Hiddleston and Leigh Lezark.

LONDON, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM (FEBRUARY 19, 2012)(MULBERRY HANDOUT) -
Actresses Michelle Williams and Elizabeth Olsen were among the many high profile guests who attended the show of British Label Mulberry's 2012 Autumn/Winter collection on Sunday (February 19).

Other A-listers included American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Bill Nighy, Lou Lesage, Olivia Palermo, Tinie Tempah, Michelle Dockery, Tom Hiddleston, Leigh Lezark and Azealia Benks.
U.S. singer Lana del Rey was also in attendance. The US singer had a handbag named after her. Del Rey was seen carrying her white ostrich "The Del Rey" handbag both at the show and at the after party at Claridge's hotel, where she also performed.

"The Del Rey" follows on from the label's fascination with other celebrity-inspired handbags including "The Alexa" named after fashion model and television presenter Alexa Chung.
The theme of Autumn/Winter 2012 was inspired by Maurice Sendak's classic children's story "Where the Wild Things Are" and included models sent down the runway in various furs -- from full-length coats, gilets, skirts and even on some handbags.

Actress Elizabeth Olsen, younger sister of the famous Olsen twins Mary-Kate and Ashley, commented on the theme of the collection:
"Where the wild things are? I mean I think it's like the best inspiration you should have for a fashion show, I think. Cause it kind of means that everything is game and I really loved (the) playing with the furs and the patterns and the lace and the beading and I love all of that, mixing it all up," she said.
Olsen had also a few favourites.

"There's a beaded black dress that had a black zip up hoddie that had bead that also matched the beading of the dress and I loved that look cause it was like playing with the dress up and dress down and it looked so elegant together," she said.

Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams was equally impressed with the show.
"It was everything that I hoped it would be so similarly a bunch of things that I would love to wear, I would love to bundle up with in the fall and in the winter. Especially, I really loved the knits."
Williams also said she has been a fan of the label for quite some time.

"I love Mulberry because it reminds me of life, it reminds me of things that my friends would wear, that I would wear. There's something about every collection that's playful and reverent and exciting," she said.
London Fashion Week continues on Monday (February 20) with highlights including an inaugural show by McQ, the diffusion line from Alexander McQueen.
