Joyce Sims, a native of Rochester, New York, is a singer-songwriter and pianist. Known for her 1980s club/dance songs, her biggest hit was the soul-dance ballad 'Come Into My Life', which was a hit single in early 1988. Her debut album, Come into My Life, was produced by Kurtis Mantronik of hip-hop/electro group Mantronix. Sims made a return to the music scene in 2006 with the album A New Beginning.
