An underwear advertisement featuring a lookalike of Britain's Princess Diana is displayed in the luggage reclaim section of a Chinese airport.
SHENZHEN, GUANGDONG PROVINCE, CHINA (SEPTEMBER 1, 2010) REUTERS - An underwear advertisement, featuring a model with a physical resemblance to Princess Diana, the late wife of the heir to the British throne, Prince Charles, has been displayed on a billboard at Shenzhen airport in southern China's Guangdong province.
The advertisement was put up by a Guangdong-based Chinese lingerie firm, Jealousy International, to promote its "Diana Underwear" range.
The advertisement bears the slogan "Feel the Romance of British Royalty, Diana Underwear".
The company created the "Diana" line in 1996, inspired by her grace and elegance, it said on its official website.
Tuesday (August 31) marked the 13th anniversary of Diana's death.
Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997 in a car crash in Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris. Her boyfriend Dodi Al-Fayed and their chauffeur Henri Paul, who were with the Princess in the car, also died in the accident.
