Victoria's Secret models Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge prepare for the holidays at the lingerie company's largest store in the world.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (NOVEMBER 19, 2012) - Victoria's Secret's top Angels landed in New York on Monday (November 19) to share their favorite holiday memories and gift ideas.
The event was held at the company's largest store in the world.
"It's a women's wonderland it has kind of everything a women could need when it comes to underwear, sleep-wear, fitness-wear, like cool sweatpants. No matter what kind of girl you are there really is something here for every women," said veteran Angel Miranda Kerr.
On display in the store are some of the looks worn by the models during the latest runway show. Brazilian model Adriana Lima said being able to walk in the show is one of the perks of working for the company.
"Being part of this brand and being able to be an angel it was like a dream come true for me, you know. There is so many girls in the world that would love to be here so I really feel blessed to be part of it, part of this, you know. It's very emotional when I see it, I just can't believe," she said.
In between showing off some of her favorite items from VS, Kerr took time out to reminisce about childhood holiday's with her grandmother.
"She would play the piano, we would be cooking together, it was like a big, wonderful - cooking feast and music as well because our family we really like music, my grandma as I said, plays the piano, we all like to sing and dance. It's just a fun time of the year and it's really special and I'm blessed to have those wonderful memories," Kerr told Reuters.
The Australian born beauty said she is now starting to see the music gene show up in her eleven-month old son.
"The other day I took him around to his play group and there was this little mini piano and he literally, like I didn't say anything, he sat down on the little stool, started playing the piano. Like, obviously not playing the piano, but his type of playing the piano and I was like, 'wow, I guess it does run in the family,'" said Kerr who is married to actorOrlando Bloom.
Candice Swanepoel is looking forward to taking time off during the holiday season in her native South Africa.
"It's really hot during that time so for us it's kind of like a pool day or a day at the beach. We would always have a big lunch with a turkey and everything out on the lawn and everyone in the pool and enjoying the sun," said Swanepoel.
Fans of the Angels will be able to see them hit the runway for Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on December 4th on U.S. network CBS.
